Yes, there is a lot of dishonesty in the world of business. I’ll give you that. But on the other hand, there is also a lot of good will and kindness. There are plenty of moral, honest, loving business owners out there, who want to see themselves make money, yes, but who also care about their customers, and genuinely want them to lead better, healthier, and more natural lives.
This isn’t news, you know. The business world is one of shady deals, back alley transactions, and the quest for money. When you look at the wellness and health industry, sure there is some of that. You can’t escape it. But, I know for a fact there are some good ones out there. And some of those good ones want you to be able to harness the power of acai berries, goji berries, and other natural fruit loops in order to better yourself. It is that simple.
Are they looking to make money? Obviously, but not at all costs. And that is where it breaks down for me. What a person will do or won’t do, for money. So, the next time you see someone bashing a company for propagating a useless or needless health supplement, remember that not all health and nature companies are created equally. Also, remember that clinical studies have their place, but they, too, are not without faults, agendas, and politics.
Acai berries are some of the best things I know of, for myself. I use them semi-daily – whether in pill of frozen form – and I love what it does for my system. Now, sure, you could always chalk it up to some placebo effect, but you know what? First off, I don’t think it is a placebo, and second – what if it is? So what? It is a delicious berry, which I am taking into my system after going for a 5K run, along with some other fruits, some almond milk, and a touch of mocha ice cream. Even if we grant the proposition, and say that the acai berries in there are purely a placebo – I just don’t care. It helps to get me up and moving, and that is what counts, as far as I am concerned.
So, if you find that a certain health fad or craze is helping you out, pay absolutely no attention to the naysayers. Eventually, they don’t matter. If it is something which helps you, and which you can afford, continue doing it. If you are getting healthier, stronger, more aligned – it doesn’t matter what anyone says. It really doesn’t.
People will always find something to complain about. Also, keep in mind that the FDA does have its place, and its importance, that does not mean that it holds all of the world’s knowledge.
